Samara is the Owner, Creative Director and driving force behind La Sorella. Samara has grown La Sorella from humble beginnings to an award-winning space, showcasing a passion for hair and client experience. Samara is a supporter and mentor for others within the hair and beauty industry. She is sought after for specialist colour and business support training across Australia.

Samara has a recognised flair for colour. Her signature blondes are one of her biggest passions. Samara seeks to create a lasting connection with her clients. To support not only their hair journey but the client as a whole. Samara’s client books are full, and she does not take on new clients at this time.

As a business owner and busy mother of 3 beautiful munchkins, Samara's life is full and fast. She is a fierce friend, a foodie and a lover of margaritas! Samara loves travelling with her family and taking road trips for bakery treats. Her ever-changing menagerie currently includes Paisley the Frenchie and 2 water dragons.

Samara is currently on maternity leave, but you will often find her and baby Wylder popping into the salon.

Jo is the head of Cutting training and development on the La Sorella education team. Her talent with a pair of scissors is highly sought after. The demand for Jo's skill is reflected in her executive cutting appointment bookings. With 27 years in the industry, Jo has a wealth of knowledge. She is an expert in the field of precision cutting and styling. She also has a love for colour work, especially those seeking that ‘lived in look’.

Jo seeks to provide a space for relaxation and self-care. She creates a personal look for each individual client. Her aim is that every guest who graces her chair leave feeling beautiful both inside and out.

When Jo isn’t crafting her wizardry in the salon, she loves getting out and about doing anything active. She likes to find new beaches and quirky towns with her son and daughter. Jo is also a self-confessed chocoholic.

Hailing from the tropical north, Laura came on board with LaSorella, when she relocated to the Gold Coast. Laura joins the LaSorella team as Senior Stylist with 7 years’ experience in the industry.

She has deep passion for colouring and blondes. Laura colour work saw her selected as 1 of only 5 people in Queensland to feature in the Goldwell show 2020.

Laura’s ideal client is, in her words “the blonder the better”. She is all about making your blonde dreams come true.

When Laura’s not in the salon, you will find her at the beach. She loves enjoying the sunshine with friends, drinking a cheeky V and chowing down on uber eats.

Carly is an artist who loves to do it all. From sharp cut bobs to lived in blondes and coppers, her wheelhouse is vast, and she loves a challenge. Carly is a certified Kevin Murphy session stylist, she is your go to if you have an event coming up.

Carly has 20 years’ experience in the industry and is part of the LaSorella education team. She assists in the training and development of our emerging stylists.

If you are looking for someone who is ready to go all in with you, on your hair and life journey, then Carly is your girl.

When Carly isn’t weaving her hair magic on her clients you will find her spending time with friends and family. She loves adventures with her fur children Frankie and Mollie the mini dachshunds. Carly can also bake up a storm and spoils us with her delicious treats.

Keira is part of the OG LaSorella team. She cut back a little over the past few years to grow her family. Keira is now back in salon more days and ready to make hair dreams come true.

Keira loves to create connection with her clients. She likes to tailor a look to suit the client and their lifestyle. A quiet listener by nature, Keira will work her magic while you debrief about life. Keira has 19 years’ experience in the industry. She is a master of all things colour with an art for freehand work. Keira is also a wizard with a razor cutting. She loves expressing her creativity in salon.

Out of the salon you will find this Mumma with her two gorgeous babes. She loves spending time with her fam bam. Exploring, adventuring and hanging out together.

Mikaela is a talented all round stylist. She loves blondes and creative foil work and creating lived in looks. Mikaela has been in the industry for 9 years. She joined the original LaSorella team to expand her colouring passion. Mikaela is also a master blow dryer and can create amazing Hollywood style blow-dries.

Mikaela loves to be outdoors, spending time boating or at the beach. She likes adventuring with her Hubby and her sweet baby girl, and her big fur baby Boston the Aussie Bulldog.

Mikaela is currently on maternity leave. Please keep an eye on our socials to see when she is back in salon.

When Courtney joined La Sorella she was approaching completion of an apprenticeship elsewhere. Courtney knew she could be so much more than the stylist she was. She made the bold choice to take a step back in her apprenticeship. She came on board with La Sorella, so she could hone her craft under the guidance of the La Sorella Education team.

Now with 4 years’ experience under her belt, Courtney is an incredible talent. She is part of our Emerging Stylist Team and colour work is stunning. She has a true passion for her craft and her clients, and this shines through in her services.

When Courtney isn’t making your hair look fabulous you will find her hanging out with family and friends. She loves going to the beach and camping.

Whilst still in school Rehanna was a client. Reh new that hair was where her passion was and sought to join LaSorella as an apprentice. At the time she was a little too young, but she kept her eye’s on her goal. Rehanna took on a job in another salon to begin to develop her skills and gain work experience. When she returned to join the team one year later the answer was a resounding yes.

Rehanna has a passion for curling, cutting and colour. She has been developing these skills under the guidance of the LaSorella Education team. Rehanna is now in her 3rd year in the industry. and as part of the Emerging Team at LaSorella has blossomed into an amazing stylist in her own right.

When she’s not making your hair look fabulous Reh loves to spend time with Friends. She also enjoys riding horses, and spending time with her dog, Winston.

Indya has joined the La Sorella team with a vibrant attitude. She has a desire to learn from the best in a beautiful environment and a love for Mi Goreng noodles. If this kid’s head massages are anything to go by then she is going places. trust us her basin experience is next level.

Indya has been developing her skills blow-drying and curling. She is currently honing her talent with the LaSorella Education Team. Watch this space as this up-and-coming superstar grows.

When Indya isn’t massaging your troubles away. you will find our little pocket rocket hanging out with friends. She also loves spending time with family and her precious blue staffy Griffey.
